Kayak hire in the Verdon Gorges
Hello everyone, Our Canoe Kayak rental is open daily if the weather permits. We do not book our boats any more, go directly on site (opening 10h / last departure 16h) provided with a piece of identity. We will stay open until the water level allows it.
The lake is very low and the Canyon tour is shorter than normaly ( 1 hour or 1h30 max for the Canyon tour)
As long as the weather is good, we welcome you seven days a week Sunday 23 September 2018. You can only hire kayaks directly on the place now. See you Plage du Galetas 83630 AIGUINES
The Verdon stretches for 175 km between the southern Alps and the mid-section of the Durance in Provence. Several clearly-defined parts of the river and the gorges host water sport activities in summer.
Mostly concentrated between Castellane and Esparron-de-Verdon, white-water activities require specific supervision by qualified guides (e.g. rafting, canyoning and riverboarding).
Other activities in calmer waters can be carried out independently (e.g. pedalos, electric boats, kayaks) and this is the type of unaccompanied expedition on calm water to which Verdon Canoe invites you. Come to the Plage du Galetas and hire a kayak to discover the last kilometre of the Grand Canyon. This is an unmissable sight of the Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur region, to be visited and revisited.
Be aware that we are very busy in July and August, at weekends and on public holidays, when other people will also be hiring canoes. Ladies and gentlemen, to your paddles!
We look forward to welcoming you to the Verdon soon.
Yours sportingly, the Management.
